Bustom is a shoe company that allows the user to customise their shoes by printing their own designs on their favourite pair. But for now you can only buy them on their online store.
What better way to get views and make noise than to take over what’s possibly the most popular store in the heart of the city?
To expand the sales point, we turned the international mecca of technology into Bustom’s official physical store. When the Bustom online store is visited from an Apple store, a 10€ discount offer is unlocked using geolocation. Apple didn’t see that one coming, did they?
We took their store, now we needed their communication. We created 3 videos letting people know how to access their discount code, using apples photo ad campaigns format. A new form of appropriation!
